A Daily programme helps to take the following into consideration and divides up the day:
A structured environment either indoors or outdoors, enough apparatus is placed out in order to draw a child to play.
Vary according to the direct instructions from the educator, either inside or outside (music, movement activities, stories, science, news, theme discussions, etc).
Tidy up, toilet routine, serving of refreshments, rest time. These activities vary accordingly to the direct instructions of the educator. The educational value of these activities should not be underestimated.
Where a child plays their own game in the presence of a friend.
Small group play
There is already speech from a learner or followers and workers.
Large group play
The entire group plays together under instruction from the educator, for example games such as “stuck in the mud”. Etc.
